    Executive Chef Vivek Singh opens the doors to his kitchen to reveal the art of his culinary creations with a host of inspired Cookery Masterclasses. Whether you’re an enthusiastic beginner or a confident cook, this is a unique opportunity to learn and observe the secrets behind one of the most well-respected Indian chefs in the country.

    Winter Warming Curries with Raju Ramachandran (SOLD OUT)

    Beginning with a welcome drink, guests start their experience with an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Vivek Singh’s working kitchen. Our Winter Warming Curries Masterclass teaches participants how to use traditional and modern Indian cooking methods to make a range of curries from all over the Indian subcontinent. Particularly apt for this time of the year, explore the diversity of curries from all over India and let us take you through the different regions with dishes such as old Delhi style chicken curry and jungle curry of guinea fowl with fresh fenugreek, Kerala spicy fish curries and rustic Rajasthani ones too.

    Ready to step into our kitchens and learn our secrets? Because we’re ready to welcome you!

    The day starts around 09:30 am with a light breakfast, tea and coffee and an interactive talk from our chefs about Indian cooking and the many different spices. Then the group moves into the kitchen and begins cooking some of the signature dishes of Cinnamon Collection, along with the theme of the masterclass,  You are invited to sit at our tandoor grill and enjoy the dishes that you have cooked, along with wine and water.

    The day usually wraps up at around 15:00 pm and on leaving, you are presented with a signed copy of one of our cookbooks.

    The cancellation policy is 15 working days prior to the event for a full refund, or we can try and accommodate you in another class. Please note, if you cancel within this time, we will retain the full cost, and your voucher will no longer be valid.

    Once an order is placed, our team will get in touch within 24-48hrs to confirm the details.

    Kebabs and Biryanis of India (SOLD OUT)

    Our Kebabs & Biryanis Masterclass teaches participants how to make kebabs using both a traditional charcoal tandoor oven and also equipment available at home. Learn the secrets of making a perfect biryani from Hari Nagaraj, who not only comes from Hyderabad, the biryani capital of India but also makes the best Biryani Vivek has ever eaten. The kebabs explore the intricate art of butchery as well as spicing to create and array of different textures and flavours.

    Indian Street Food Masterclass (SOLD OUT)

    Our Street Food Masterclass teaches participants how to use traditional and modern Indian cooking methods to make a range of street-food style dishes; from the Cinnamon take on classics like pao bhaji & papdi chaat, to a fusion favourite of Indo-Chinese chilli chicken. A three-course lunch, showcasing some of the dishes explored in the class and with paired wines, finishes the day perfectly. To take home, a goodie bag comes complete with a signed cookery book, herbs and spices and detailed recipes.

    Cookery Masterclass

    Railway Inspired Masterclass

    Inspired by the longest railway connectivity in the world, this is our culinary depiction of a scenic journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to be experienced aboard the iconic Himsagar Express. In 73 hours, Himsagar Express covers a distance of 2355 miles at an average speed of 32mph, and transverses twelve of India’s states halting at a total of 73 stations along the way.
